The Asian Studies Newsletter Archives has taken charge of many of the newsletters from the JEI library. The archive is a privately maintained, public-service-oriented archival collection of Western language (and to a limited extent, Asian language) newsletters and bulletins dealing in whole or in part with the countries and civilizations of East, Southeast and South Asia. All files in the Asian Studies Newsletter Archives are open by appointment to people visiting the Washington, DC area. Requests for a limited number of xerox copies of individual issues are filled at cost whenever possible.
